Our Services and Materials:
It’s pretty simple. We transform your ideas into real life 3D products. Send us your napkin sketch, CAD plans, whatever you are starting with, and we’ll bring your vision to life in 3D. Presenting a realistic image to your client is a sure fire way to convey what the finished product will look like. No costly redesigns in mid-stream, or having a client tell you that is not quite what they had in mind once you have built a project for them. The service we provide is but a small investment that saves you time and money, plus ensures you have a very satisfied client. After your 3D model is created, you may create 2D plans from that 3D model that will be much more accurate than the typical 2D plans created by architects that are still entrenched in their 2D comfort zone. Take most 2D plans, and create a 3D model from those 2D plans, and watch the conflicts arise. See the floor register pop up under that millwork, or that DWV line conflict with that structural beam. 3D catches it all, long before it is caught on the construction site.

You may also require a prototype of your 3D model to be printed in 3D, full size, as is often the case for custom designed parts, or a scale model of something very large. iCADz Graf/x can deliver a physical, cutting edge 3D model of your product, printed with our amazing SLS (selective laser sintering) technology. This is one of the most sophisticated printing technologies available, much different than your home 3D printer. We currently offer the following materials in our SLS 3D printing services: Nylon 12, Glass-Filled Nylon, Flame Retardant Nylon, Carbon-Filled Nylon, and Aluminum-Filled Nylon.

MYTH: “3D models are only good for prototypes”
3D modeling has come a long way since its introduction, and we are now able to create functional projects with long-term value, beginning solely from a 3D model. Conventional 2D design rules are out the window, as powerful 3D software takes all 3D designers to the next level. Structural analysis, and resolving any model conflicts in the software phase ensures a quality product is delivered without issues. Major industries like medical, aerospace, engineering, architecture and many more are already using this high end 3D modeling to manufacture high-value custom products. Architecture can now take buildings to new heights, with unparalleled precision. You can bet the tallest building in the world was designed using 3D design software, and architects who think and sleep in the 3D world. These projects can’t afford the errors typically associated with 2D thinking.
